The first time I couldn't wait to talk to someone about it. I talked to too many people about it, possibly (Elspeth, some randos at Elspeth's party, Kyle, every tattooer in the studio, that nice lady on the bus going to her granddaughter's birthday that one time, the weird barista guy at the coffee place, and our mail carrier).

The second time I haven't talked to anyone about. I don't want to hear someone tell me what a bad idea it was, or hear myself say something stupid to downplay it, and I don't want to somehow break the spell it still has on me. I've been thinking about that night for ten days, pretty much, and I'm not tired of it yet, which must be magic, right?

And here I am writing about it like I have a diary or something. I haven't written so much about anything since high school. What's happened to me? Does Sam's dick have actual powers?

I'm in the mood to do some sexy tattoos. Give me your best sexy tattoo idea, and I'll tell you how great it is and how much of a discount I'd give you if you booked me for it.

Not until after the parades end, though. I'm up to my ears in bad decision fleur-de-lis and Mardi Gras mask tattoos right now.

I liked the kids who never shut up. I was pushed in puddles sometimes because, well, you've met me. I didn't have a dad either.

It's art that you carry around you for the rest of your life, that tells the world a little something about you, even if it's just "I think cobras are fucking cool." It's fun for me because it's a challenge and every single one is different, so I never get bored.
